TJ on Garbrandt charity KO tape: ‘It should be for kids without fathers so they don’t grow up like Cody’

TJ Dillashaw BRUTALLY roasted Cody Garbrandt in the latest.

Here’s a quick rundown of the beef so far between these two Ultimate Fighter coaches:

  • Cody said he had a video of himself knocking out TJ in sparring.
  • TJ said the video didn’t exist.
  • They’ve gone back and forth about the video, with Cody threatening to release it and people saying you shouldn’t release footage from sparring like that, the gym is sacred.
  • But people also saying it’s okay for Cody to release it, since TJ is denying that it even exists.
  • Cody says he’ll sell the tape to TMZ or some website and donate the money to charity.
  • TJ picks the charity, and it’s absolutely savage.

Here’s what TJ Dillashaw said when asked which charity he wants the money to go to:

‘It should be for kids without fathers so they don’t grow up like Cody’

Wow.

The two are opposing coaches on this season of The Ultimate Fighter, but  the ratings are off to a slow start, with reports saying it was the series’ lowest debut in the long history of the reality program. Is it possible that TUF has just run it’s course? Or that they really need to change things up drastically in order to make people interested again? With each season performing worse than the one before, when is it time to just hang up the gloves? TUF does serve some useful purposes, the UFC has used coaching jobs on the show as a negotiating chip in the past, and it gives them something to do with big name fighters if they’re injured or if they want to build up a rivalry… But it’s not appealing to wider audiences and MMA fans are getting kind of bored of TUF and the drawn-out format. We’ll have to see how the reason progresses…

And here’s a recent quote from Cody Garbrandt about TJ:

“I never liked the guy.”
