There’s one move in martial arts that even Steven Seagal wouldn’t want to take credit for. 

When you absolutely, positively need to get your opponent to give up position there’s only one move that will do the trick. It’s the oil check. Some fighters absolutely refuse to do it, whereas others believe that the ends justify the means. Some of them probably enjoy it, too. Just sayin’.

If you don’t know why they call it the oil check, just take a second to think about it.

It’s really simple. If you’re in a bad position, and you can reach your opponent’s asshole, here’s one weird trick to getting into a more favorable position. Do you want to be a champion? How badly do you want it? If you aren’t willing to give a few volunteer prostate exams, are you really champion material? These are the kinds of questions that fighters have to ask themselves during their darkest moments of self-doubt.
