Now, with a fight coming up later this month, Ronda Rousey is back in fighting form and looking strong as ever. Like any human being, Ronda’s body is going to change shape occasionally. She usually cuts a lot of weight, and has looked very sunken at some of her weigh ins, but apparently this time around she’s walking around “well fed” at just 140lbs, meaning she only needs to lose 5 pounds before her fight. We’ve seen Ronda lose over 20 pounds in about a day when she was coaching TUF, just to show her fighter that it’s possible while he was struggling to cut weight.




People tend to focus on the bad sides of Ronda, but you’ve got to remember she had a tough upbringing, lost her father very early, and was raised to compete from a young age. Yes, she handles losing poorly, but she’s also done a lot of great things, seems to genuinely care about her fans, has invited little kids to come hang out during the open workouts, and generally seems like a solid person who has not done the best job of polishing herself for the media, and doesn’t always handle things the best way in the heat of the moment. She’s a real person, who was catapulted to massive international fame and scrutiny almost overnight, and kept keeping it real even when that would backfire.
