The most recent bill, spearheaded by Zuffa and Lorenzo Fertitta passed again today with a landslide 44-16 vote. This is the fifth year in a row that this bill has passed, but it still must make it through the New York Assembly to become law. Senate Democrat Timothy Kennedy said, “Every other state is doing it – it’s high time New York acts.” We don’t know much about politics, but it appears “The Assembly” are a bunch of curmudgeonly old bastards that have blocked the bill for the last 5 years, and are apparently going to do it again. Therefore MMA is still illegal in New York, which in our opinion, is utter bullshit.
