Former UFC bantamweight champion champion Miesha Tate had a simple message to Jon Jones who has been striped of his UFC 214 win against Daniel Cormier for doping. Tate did not mixed words when she weighed in on the scandal and slammed Jones with fierce criticism.
You can not use ignorance as an excuse
Jones has denied intentionally taking banned substances either this is ignorance or he is just plain lying. But Tate was not having none of it “You can not use ignorance as an excuse” she said referring to Jones explanation.
Miesha Tate: “You’re clean or you’re not. There is no gray area when it comes to contact sports, period. I do not care if USADA says, Miesha, you can not eat Cheerios in the week of your fight. Guess what, not Cheerios. Those are the rules. They make them so that the sport is safe and clean, and we must follow them “.
