If this fight was set up, it almost certainly didn’t come from the top. There’s no way that Bellator would risk their reputation to put over an over-the-hill fighter who was never really that great to begin with. It just doesn’t make sense.
But that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t some other fishy business going on involving one or both of the fighters and their camps.
