The commentators were strongly hinting that Fabio stopped trying in the later rounds, either because he “respected Fedor” or “BECAUSE OF SOMETHING ELSE”, in other words it seemed like they were strongly implying that there could have been some funny business going on. Fan reaction has been mixed, some people are very vocal that the judging was unfair or that somebody whispered into Fabio’s ear after the first round warning him not to finish the fight, but he was still throwing strikes with bad intentions, so it’s a tough call.
