Dana White Issues Chilling Warning About End of Conor McGregor’s UFC Career

Articles

Conor McGregor went rogue and said his next fight WILL be in a boxing ring and that he’ll do it with or without the UFC. He wants to fight Floyd under the banner of McGregor Promotions, and even Floyd himself has recently said this fight is really close to happening.

Conor put on his own press conference with sold tickets to 5000 people, where he basically said he’s the man and he makes the rules. Conor said he would have been willing to defend his UFC title in March, except the UFC didn’t even reach out or ask him to, so now he’s got his eyes on boxing and won’t compromise.

“Listen, when you’re about to do a PPV where you charge people to hear you talk, I’m sure you gotta say some pretty crazy shit.” – Dana White

Dana White goes on to issue a warning to Conor McGregor if he keeps going down this road. The UFC don’t play softball. Remember when they took Conor off of UFC 200? Dana’s point is that Conor needs the UFC a lot more than the UFC needs Conor McGregor, but that’s debatable. The UFC just sold for 4 billion, and Conor is by far their biggest draw, earning them insane amounts of money. They don’t want to lose that.

“I’ve always shown Conor nothing but respect and if he wants to go down that road with us, it’ll be an epic fall.” – Dana White
