Tony ‘El Cucuy’ Ferguson put down Kevin Lee in the UFC 216 spectacular bout, on held Oct. 7. With that win up the sleeve, Ferguson was proclaimed the new Interim Lightweight Champion, and will face-off with Conor McGregor for the unification of the titles. Ferguson has been demanding that Conor comes out and state what he will be doing.
During the Octagon interview after the fight with Lee, Ferguson threw a direct challenge to Conor. Ferguson said, “You better come and defend the fucking belt. Defend it or leave it vacant son of a bitch“
Conor – who has remained extremely quite after his TKO to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the boxing field – recently responded to comments from ‘El Cucuy’ with a shared image via Instagram post. Conor did not accompany the picture with a long message, the Irish simply wrote “Tony”:
