What a lot of people don’t realize is that we’re regulated by the government.
Oh, I think everyone realizes that because you’ve been saying it at every press conference since people started mistaking your head for the moon (In other words, for a very long time.) If you say “The UFC is regulated by the government” into your bathroom mirror 3 times with the lights out it’s rumored that Dana White will suddenly appear and hand you tickets for a Fox card.

But mum’s the word when it comes to any specific numbers, and it’s hard to visit any MMA forum or fan page without seeing complaint after complaint. But Dana wouldn’t know about those complaints, since he doesn’t read the internet.

Whenever you hear Dana making negative comments about one of his more talented employes (Recently GSP, Barao…) you can bet he’ll follow it up with this back-peddling tagline.
