Fight fans have been waiting for ages to see The American Gangster fight again after his war with words with Wandy hit critical mass. Those hopes and dreams were crushed when both fighters ran into some “drug test issues” and neither is likely to fight again. Or so we thought. It was recently revealed that Chael Sonnen is going to be headlining Metamoris 4 on August 9th in a match against grappling master Andre Galvao. Granted, it’s not an MMA fight but it takes a card that was already interesting and puts it over the edge. It’s only $20 (If you preorder before July 5th) to watch it live, a refreshing price point for fight fans who are getting tired of shelling out $10 for Fight Pass and another $60 for lackluster Pay Per Views.With the UFC putting on a record number of events this year, even the huge cards (UFC 175, for example) are looking a little thin around the edges. The guys who would usually fill out a PPV are now headlining the Fox Sports 1 and Fight Pass cards.
