Tsuyoshi Kohsaka Uses Illegal Elbow to Score Win Over Fedor via Cut

Much like Johnson vs. Burns, this one was an illegal technique resulting in an injury that led to the stoppage due to a crappy referee. Tsuyoshi Kohsaka elbowed Fedor Emelianenko (illegally, according to Japanese MMA rules) after missing a punch and opened a deep cut over his eyebrow. Rather than calling it a DQ or NC, Kohsaka was just declared the winner. That would be the only loss on Fedor’s record for a long, long time.

Royce Gracie Nutshots Ken Shamrock For the Win!

Bellator 149 was the event where all the old legends went to disappoint you. Kurt Angle? Physical mess. Ken Shamrock? Using illegal drugs. Royce Gracie? Unrepentant asshole nutshot artist, apparently. During a clinch exchange, Gracie kneed Shamrock in the cup and the referee, for whatever reason, didn’t break the action. Despite the nutshot CLEARLY LEADING TO THE END OF THE FIGHT AND BEING SHOWN REPEATEDLY ON THE JUMBOTRON, Gracie denied any wrongdoing and made me lose a lot of respect for him in the process.

Kazuyuki Fujita Beats Ken Shamrock Via Having a Thick Skull

Ken Shamrock beat the hell out of Kazuyuki Fujita. Every takedown got completed. Every punch landed. It was such a thorough beating that KEN SHAMROCK LITERALLY HAD A HEART ATTACK FROM BEATING HIM UP SO BAD. Shamrock’s corner threw the towel and, thus, a legend was born.
