Jon Jones Loses to Matt Hamill by Beating Him Up Too Badly
Another Steve Mazzagatti incident. Jon Jones was destroying TUF3 alum Matt Hamill at the TUF10 Finale before he seemingly won the fight via TKO. Apparently he hadn’t. Hamill was declared the winner by DQ after saying he couldn’t continue the fight after a break in the action due to 12-to-6 elbows. The problem? He couldn’t continue due to a shoulder injury. This should have been a NC.
The Worst Judges’ Decision Ever
Chase Beebe faced Mike Easton for the UWC title in 2007 and absolutely destroyed Easton in the process, taking his back repeatedly and spending nearly 20 minutes of the fight in dominant positions on the ground. And then he was declared the loser. This is regarded by many as the worst decision in MMA history…and they’re right.
