During the world tour prior to the boxing match that starred Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor – a fight that McGregor ended up losing for TKO – it was usual to hear both athletes verbally attacking each other, and not even the people close to them were saved of insults.
For example, during the press conference in New York, ‘The Notorious’ did not pass up the opportunity to talk about the popular American rapper and friend of Floyd, 50 Cent(via BJPenn.com ):
Conor McGregor: “50 Cent is a bitch! You and 50 are fucking millionaires. He’s bankrupt and you’re about to be. “
50 Cent recently was present at the show ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’, and there he referred to the verbal attacks launched by Conor (via BJPenn.com):
50 Cent: “I thought, this fool does not know if he’s going to fight Floyd or me.”
“Where did that come from? But he was doing his job. I was giving the show and making sure everyone was paying attention. ”
At 50 Cent they then asked if he would be able to deal with McGregor in a fight. The rapper simply does not feel that Conor has the necessary stature to face him:
“On the street? Yeah. Please, he weighs 150 pounds. “
